RSS feed won't update until then anyway/only return the cache.
Would potentially require different timers for the different series. One possible idea would be to just use the time furthest in the future to ensure all feeds are freshly fetched

Currently not possible or I'm not knowledgeable. Keeping the polling approach seems like the best idea going forward. Potentially implementing smart polling could be a good idea.
