Megathread for Several Tasks:

  • Upload new Book via API
    • Custom Metadata
    • include epub file
  • Get Calbire Library entry for a book based on Title
    • determine possible better alternatives
  • Get current Metadata for book from Calibre
    • Display the Metadata next to the JNC Metadata
      • highlighti9ng differences would be a good idea, only showing a unified set of Metadata when no differences are detected would be ideal
  • If possible get File hash or some other unique metric of currently uploaded epub file for comparison with the newest available jnc epub

In order to support Update checking the "lastUpdated" field of the JNC data needs to be uploaded to calibre as well. A custom stub field is likely the best option for this.
